The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Irish Centre for European Law (ICEL) are delighted to invite you to join us virtually for the EPA & ICEL Environmental Law Enforcement Conference Emerging Challenges 2021 on the mornings of Wednesday 17th & Thursday 18th November 2021.

The conference is open to all, free to attend and will take place across two half days.

The conference will consider a number of contemporary themes relating to environmental law enforcement including:
The obligation on public bodies under section 15 of the Climate Action & Low Carbon Development Acts 2015 to 2021; Whistleblowing and Environmental Crime;
Remedial Environmental Impact Assessment in the Substitute Consent process;
the principle of sincere cooperation and the EU nature directives;
Emerging Environmental Law Research; and the Environmental Liability Directive.
